 FAQs

  • The first step is to diagnose, the Diagnosis Fee is $59. If you are more than 25km outside of Brooks, AB there will be a mileage charge of $0.75 per Km one way for each trip. Once the machine is diagnosed a repair is quoted. We will quote the size of the repair as Small ($59), Average ($99), or Large (starts at $199), plus parts. The Diagnosis Fee gets billed at first visit and repair gets billed upon completion.

  • You can schedule a Service Call to diagnose your appliance problem by clicking the “Schedule Now” button above this FAQ section. You will be asked to fill out some contact info, some information about the appliance requiring service, and your preferred appointment time. If we have any follow up questions, we will let you know, otherwise we will confirm on the day of and see you then!

Alternatively, you can phone in and if I am not available, leave a voicemail and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

  • We warranty our parts for 30 days and the labour for 90. This means that if a problem is reported within 30 days and it is a faulty part, we will put a new one in free of charge. If there is a problem reported on the same appliance within 90 days, if it is the same root problem and not a new problem we will not charge another labour charge but only the required parts if parts are required in that case. If there is a problem reported on an appliance that ends up being a different cause, then we will quote that repair as separate and the customer will decide whether they want to approve that repair.

  • Please make sure an adult able to approve or deny repairs is present, and that the appliance to be serviced is accessible and power (and water if applicable) can reach the machine.

  • If a part is required you will be quoted on the price before ordering if part is not in stock. Once the part arrives we will contact you to book a return visit to complete the repair. You will be billed for Part and Repair Labour when repair is completed.

  • I am very familiar with Whirlpool, Maytag, Kitchenaid, Samsung, LG, Bosch, Frigidaire, Electrolux, Inglis, Amana, and more. A lot of other brands borrow parts from these major brands and I can find something that is compatible. However, there are some cases where I can diagnose a machine I know very well but the required part is discontinued. In these cases I do try my best to find a part but it may simply be unrepairable. Don’t let that discourage you however, most of the time if a part has to be ordered it is readily available from a warehouse in Canada.

  • If the quoted part does not fix the problem we will schedule a complimentary visit to figure out what happened. Once that is determined, we can reach an agreeable resolution.

  • As much as we appreciate a good deal around here, we have to keep to installing parts that we have sourced so our insurance is valid.
